Quick post, blogging in taxi.
Yesterday I pigged out at the office BBQ then proceeded to have a gargantuan at Jimmy Johns for dinner. I felt like the Heavy in TF2

In my defense, 9 miles and an hour in the weight room gave me an appetite.
This morning I set out a little late so I cut my run from 10 to 9 miles. Recovery/easy pace. Every morning I think the gnats are the worst they have been and today was no different. Once it was light enough to see them, it was scary. Gnat tornadoes , walls, clouds. The faces on people running through them said it all.
Took me about 4 miles just to feel loosened up. I didn't even get my first wave until mile 3! Yikes!
Anywho, off to get my Pure Michigan on, so I won't be as prolific commenting on blogs, but I will read them!

Ahhh, gnat tornadoes sound horrendous! I ran into a wall of tiny bugs recently and had to turn around in literally 30 seconds. They were in my eyes, mouth, ears... everywhere! No fun.

I'm not sure I've ever had strawberry cream cheese. I don't know that it sounds that appealing, though. I'm all for garlic-y/salty cream cheese!
Once you entered the gnat world, there was no turning back. You look back and they are there too! SCARY
ReplyDeleteOut in Chicago, we get a lot of commercials voiced by Tim Allen to visit Michigan (and the theme is Pure Michigan).
Get some strawberry cream cheese and throw it on a bagel! NOM
